When you start a project like the Vesta Home Show, the very first impression matters! The exterior sets the stage and we believe that what you experience at the front door should set the tone for what you will experience inside the front door. For our show home, we had the joy of working with the incredible architects at LRK, who are true visionaries. They started us and Albertine Company off with four different elevations, each with its own personality. From there, we worked together to imagine something that felt timeless, memorable, and a little bit unexpected. We knew we wanted a front porch that invited people in and a plaster exterior that felt elevated.

Color was a huge part of the conversation from the beginning. After much deliberation, we landed on the body of the house as Benjamin Moore’s Revere Pewter, a soft neutral that shifts beautifully in different light. Against it, we paired Sherwin Williams Eclipse for the shutters, windows, and siding— a moody contrast that grounds the house and gives it depth. It’s one of those combinations that feels classic without being boring, and it works in all seasons.

Another element we kept coming back to was patina. We love materials that only get better with age, so you’ll see dark bronze metals, copper lanterns, and custom mahogany front doors. These finishes are designed to change over time: to weather, soften, and tell their own story. It felt right for a home we have named Legends, because legends aren’t made overnight; they grow more layered with time.

We are excited for you to experience the cobblestones on the porches. We went with Ozark Blue cobblestones, which bring texture and history underfoot. There’s something grounding about walking across stone that feels like it’s been there forever. It anchors the whole exterior and gives the house a sense of permanence.

Watching the renderings turn into reality has been one of the most rewarding parts of this process. What started as sketches and samples boards is now a home taking shape, one we cannot wait to open the doors for you on at the Vesta Home Show Preview Night on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 6pm.
